Good morning! Here’s a protip: Carry a squeegee in your car. You’ll need it, especially in autumn, when the air gets colder and condensation coats your car’s windows every morning.
Now, I know what many of you are thinking: “David, I don’t care! I simply get in my car, click on the wipers, and drive away — LIKE A BAWSE.” But the thing is, as my father told me on at least six occasions: “You can’t see out any of your windows with all that water. You can always take one minute to wipe it all down and make your drive a hundred times safer.” (He’s that kind of dad.)
Better still, I’ve discovered that you are allowed to turn on your engine, blast the defrost, and then get out of your car with your squeegee to wipe it down. By the time you get back in your car, the defrost should be rocking and rolling. And even better still, this process also works for scraping ice!
